Overview

Turkey Red Oil is also known as Sulfated Castor Oil. It is the only oil that will completely disperse in water. The oil is expressed from the seed of the castor plant.
Sulfated castor oil is created by adding sulfuric acid to castor oil. Turkey Red Oil has a distinct and heavy scent. It is a surfactant and makes a great base for a bath oil since it mixes well with water.
We use it to make water based sprays with essential oils. Generally just 1-2 drops per 8 oz. of water. Mix the Turkey Red with your Essential Oils, then add warm distilled water and mix again. Always shake natural essential oil sprays before each use.
